Welcome to our Frequently Asked Questions page! We’ve compiled a list of common questions we receive about our organization, our animals, the adoption process, and how you can support our mission. Whether you’re looking to adopt a furry friend, considering surrendering a pet, or simply curious about how we operate, we hope you’ll find the answers you need here. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly – we’re always happy to help!
Our adoption process typically involves filling out an application, meeting the animal you're interested in, a home visit (sometimes), and paying an adoption fee. We want to ensure the best possible match between our animals and their forever homes. A staff member will guide you through each step.
The adoption fee covers a portion of the costs associated with preparing your new pet for adoption. This typically includes spaying/neutering, vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, and sometimes a health check-up. The exact inclusions may vary, so please ask a staff member for details.
We encourage families with children and/or other pets to adopt! We'll work with you to find a pet that's a good fit for your household. We may recommend meet-and-greets between your existing pets and the potential adoptee.
We understand that sometimes, despite everyone's best efforts, a match might not be perfect. We're committed to helping you find the right pet. Please contact us as soon as possible if you're having difficulties, and we'll discuss your options, which may include returning the animal.
You can view our available animals on our website. We regularly update this page, but it's always best to visit us in person to meet our furry friends!
We understand that circumstances can change, and sometimes surrendering a pet is the only option. Please contact us via email as soon as possible to discuss your situation. We'll ask you some questions about your pet's history and behavior to help us better understand their needs.
While we may not charge a fee, donations are always appreciated as they help us provide care for all the animals in our rescue.
We will evaluate your pet's health and temperament. We will provide necessary veterinary care and work to find a loving foster or permanent home. We make every effort to find suitable placements for all animals in our care.
While we understand you might have preferences, we cannot guarantee who adopts your pet. Our priority is to find the best possible match for each animal based on their individual needs and the adopter's circumstances.
You can donate online through our website via our donation page, by mail, or in person at our facility. We appreciate any and all contributions!
